Direct Action Everywhere Statement of Nonviolence

DxE is a nonviolent group. We are nonviolent in our actions, words and tone. By speaking boldly and disrupting speciesism we hope to force two dialogues: a negotiation with a specific establishment and a negotiation with society at large. During our actions we project our voices to share the animals’ stories and perspectives. Sometimes we show anger to address the system and show the urgency of the cause but even then, we are not targeting individuals. We are always seeking to defeat injustice.
